Mission and Vision
Though most of the students belong to the upper middle class of society, they do not necessarily belong to any ethnic background. Students are selected on the basis of merit in the entrance tests organized by the school and held in the school campus. Thereafter an interview is conducted by the Principal. The school accommodates on an average thirty-five students per class and has a provision for two sections in each class. The overall strength of the school is six hundred and fifty, out of which four hundred students are in the boarding.
R.P.S. Public School boasts of a sprawling campus with an edifice reminiscent of a bygone era, surrounded by many modern infrastructures which fulfill all the requisites of CBSE pattern of English Medium Schools in India. The campus consists of a large Class Room Block, Laboratories, Hostel, Mess, Library, Administrative block, Health Center, Principal's Residence and Staff Quarters. Sufficient facilities have been provided for a well furnished Library, Laboratories, Art & Music Room, a large Audio Visual Room and for Outdoor & Indoor Games. It provides a harmonious ambience where there is no discrimination on the basis of religion, region or caste.
our teaching staff
The school has around thirty five teachers. There are ten PGTs, teaching classes XI and XII (Science and Commerce), fifteen TGTs till class X and seven PRTs. Beside these, the school has a music teacher, a physical education teacher, an art & craft teacher and individual coaches for various games. The school has teachers appointed, especially for evening studies, for the junior students so that they may get extra attention for completing their home work & studies. The school also has provisions for extra coaching for the students found weak in studies..
